General Surgery Instruments
Scalpel handles, dissecting & tissue forceps, retractors, sponge and dressing forceps, artery forceps and needle holders in straight, curved and delicate patterns.
ExploreSurgical, dental and precision instruments forged, hardened and finished in-house under ISO 13485:2016.
S.S. SURGIMED is a specialist manufacturer and exporter of single-use and reusable surgical instruments, dental instruments, orthopedic and cardiovascular instruments, hospital holloware and high precision tweezers. Operating from the instrument cluster of Sialkot, Pakistan, we combine forging and CNC machining with hand-finishing by craftsmen and craftswomen who have refined jaw alignment, serration cutting and tip matching over decades.
Every pattern is produced from certified surgical grade stainless steel, vacuum heat treated to specified hardness, passivated and inspected against dimensional and functional criteria before it is released to our OEM and private label partners.
From a single artery forceps pattern to complete theatre and dental kits — select a category to review sizes, curvatures, jaw patterns and finish options.

ExploreWhat importers, group purchasing organisations and medical device brands evaluate before placing a first order — and how we answer it.
Martensitic 410/420/440 steels for jaws and cutting edges, austenitic 304/316 for holloware, plus titanium and anti-magnetic alloys for tweezers — every heat lot supported by a mill certificate.
Hardening and tempering in controlled vacuum furnaces, followed by Rockwell hardness verification so ratchets hold, tips align and cutting edges resist deformation after repeated autoclaving.
Satin, mirror-polish, black or gold finishes with electro-polishing and citric passivation to build a stable chromium oxide layer that resists pitting and staining in CSSD cycles.
Incoming, in-process and final AQL inspection with gauges, optical comparators and functional testing of each hinge, box lock, spring and serration before packing.
Your logo, catalogue references, LOT and UDI data matrix laser marking, custom retail or sterile-barrier packaging, multilingual IFU and artwork approval workflow.
ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001 certified QMS, CE marked Class I instruments, appointed EC REP and EUDAMED registration to keep EU importers compliant.
Transparency on process is how professional buyers judge an instrument supplier. This is the exact route each instrument follows inside our facility.
Die forging of certified steel bars into instrument blanks with grain flow aligned to the jaw axis.
Milling of box locks, shanks, serrations and screw seats to drawing tolerances.
Hand setting of hinges and ratchets, tip matching and alignment by trained craftspeople.
Vacuum hardening, tempering and cryogenic stabilisation with hardness testing per batch.
Edge honing, satin or mirror polishing and deburring of all functional surfaces.
Ultrasonic cleaning, citric passivation and corrosion resistance testing.
Laser marking of brand, size, LOT and UDI, followed by final functional inspection.
Blister, pouch or kit packing with documentation and consolidated air/sea shipment.
We ship consolidated orders to importers, tender suppliers, dental depots, veterinary distributors, electronics assembly plants and laboratory dealers. Our export team handles HS classification, country-specific labelling and free sale documentation so your clearance is never delayed.
Quotations are issued against pattern numbers, sizes and finishes so that the instrument you approve in the sample stage is exactly the instrument that arrives in bulk production.

Direct answers from our production and export teams to the questions we receive most often.
We forge instruments from German and Japanese surgical grade martensitic stainless steels such as AISI 410, 420 and 440 for cutting edges and jaws, and austenitic AISI 304/316 for holloware, trays and non-cutting handles. Each heat lot arrives with a mill certificate, and hardness is verified after vacuum heat treatment.
Yes. We produce under our clients' brands with laser marking of logos, catalogue numbers, LOT and UDI data matrix codes, custom colour anodising for titanium tweezers, and client specific packaging, IFU inserts and export documentation.
Our quality system is certified to ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001, our Class I instruments are CE marked with an authorised EC REP and EUDAMED registration, and we issue Declarations of Conformity, free sale certificates, material and cleanliness reports with each shipment.
Standard catalogue instruments start from 10 pieces per pattern for trial orders. Repeat production runs ship in 15 to 25 working days, while new OEM patterns require 4 to 6 weeks including sampling and first article inspection.
Reusable instruments are passivated and electro-polished for repeated steam sterilisation at 134 °C and are covered by a lifetime functional guarantee against manufacturing defects. Single-use lines are supplied clean, individually blister or pouch packed and clearly marked for single patient use.
